This is a brief summary of the protocols that we have agreed with all members of staff and installers with regard to visits to customers houses and also showroom visits. Should anyone read these and feel they could be improved upon please let us know as it is an entirely new area of health & safety for all of us.
Our showrooms will be open Mon - Fri 9am -5pm by appointment only. All staff will always be at least 2m away from customers. Hand sanitiser will be available in the showroom. We ask that you use it on entry and also when you leave
All our staff will use sanitiser and put on a face mask on arrival. We will ask that we are alone in each room when we measure, and all questions will take place at the end of the survey at a safe distance. If you want to discuss anything in detail it may be easier for us to telephone you when we get back to our office or do a video call if required.
This is the most important part as our installers may be in your home for some time. They will always use sanitiser and face masks. They will only install in one room at a time and we ask that you keep a safe distance from them. Quite a bit of our work is performed outside; and even if they are inside the room, it is always well ventilated as they will have removed the window during their work. We respect the fact that everyone has their own comfort threshold of how they want people to be in their home, so please take the time to explain to the installers and specific wishes that you may have. All of the installers who work with Tradeframe have many years of experience installing windows and doors, but none of them are virologists, so any input that you think would improve the safety of the household that we are working in would be appreciated.
